Shipping & Return Policies

SHIPPING INFORMATION & TIMING

All books shipped within the United States are via USPS Priority Mail and are mailed within 24 hours of your purchase on the next business day. Books should arrive in 3-4 business days.

If you placed an order in error, or simply change your mind about your order, you will not be able to stop the shipment of the books unless you request a refund nearly immediately after your purchase is confirmed. Since we ship the books very quickly to be sure that you get them in time for your detox, there is very little time between your order and the shipment. To this end, please note that we cannot process a refund for an order that includes books until the books are returned to us (see return policy below).

International orders ship via USPS First Class International Mail and must allow 10-21 business days for delivery. Rates are as outlined below. International shipments are subject to delay at customs – we cannot predict nor avoid these potential delays.

IMPORTANT! We recommend that International customers order one month ahead of when you plan to begin your detox to allow plenty of time for your books to arrive.

One Book (ships First Class International):
To Canada: $16
To all other countries: $23

Two Books (ships First Class International):
To Canada: $22
To all other countries: $32


REFUND INFORMATION & TIMING

We know you’re going to absolutely LOVE your 21-Day Sugar Detox online program and the printed books, but, if you somehow don’t (sad face), here’s what you need to do to make your return for a refund within 14 days of your purchase.

Please note that refunds are processed exclusively for 100% of the package you selected. So, if you purchased the Plus or Premium package, your online access will be revoked and you must return any/all books you received using the steps below. If you decide later that you’d like to maintain an online membership to the site/program, you may re-purchase an online-only membership separately.

1. Request a refund via the link in your ClickBank receipt email.

If you cannot locate your receipt email, check an alternate email address as often folks use a secondary address to make a purchase, then forget that they did this.

If you still cannot locate your receipt email, contact us at info at balancedbites.com with your Clickbank order # or order email to look up your order #.

2. Return any/all books received as part of your order to us.

To return a book(s):
Place the book(s) back in the original box/envelope, or use a new one. Note that packages must be secure and books must be received in new/like-new condition in order for your return to be successfully processed. Obviously used books that do not appear in mint condition may not be returned. For your protection, we recommend that you use a shipping method that provides a tracking number. We cannot be responsible for books lost in transit for a return. If we receive books that are not able to be resold due to their condition, we regret that we cannot issue a refund.

COACHES PROGRAM REFUND INFORMATION

1. Notify us at info at balancedbites.com with why you are requesting the refund so that we can be sure to take note of any issues going forward.

2. Request a refund via the link in your ClickBank receipt email.

3. Remove any/all mentions of your 21DSD Coach Certification (if you obtained it) on your website, social media, etc.

4. Return any/all books, binders, and promotional items received as part of your order to us.

COLLECTION OF SALES TAX

(The following information is per Clickbank’s website and policies, which is the online retailer of our products.)

Collecting Taxes

Because ClickBank is considered the final retailer/reseller for all products sold through ClickBank, it is our responsibility to collect and remit various types of sales taxes based on the customer’s location. ClickBank automatically collects and remits taxes for jurisdictions in which ClickBank is legally required to do so. In addition to taxes collected due to our corporate status or “nexus,” here is more information about tax requirements in specific jurisdictions:

European Union VAT: As of July 1, 2003, online retailers of digital products, including ClickBank, are required to collect VAT (Value Added Tax) for products purchased by customers with a billing address located in the European Union (EU), as well as Norway as of July 2011. ClickBank is responsible for remitting applicable sales tax since ClickBank resells the products to customers. The affiliate is not responsible for remitting the VAT.

South Korea: Flat 10% tax on on products

United States: Specific states and locations may be subject to additional sales tax. Specifics include:

NC and Broomfield County, CO – All products

AR – Tax applied to shippable media items only. Multiple jurisdiction (i.e., county and city) tax rates. Effective Oct 1, 2011.

CO – Physical/shippable products

CA – Tax physical product effective 08/01/2011

CT– Tax applied at a single, statewide rate. However, that rate will vary based on the type of product. Any shippable media product will be taxed at 6%. All other products are taxed at 1%. Effective July 1, 2011.

ID – Software products and physical/shippable products

IL– Tax applied to items tagged as software and shippable media items. Multiple jurisdiction (i.e., county and city) tax rates. Effective July 1, 2011.

ME – Tax digital and physical product effective 10/09/2013

MI – Tax on Software & Physical Goods effective 10/01/2015

MN – Tax applied to all products including digitally delivered products including the right to use or access are taxable – audio, audiovisual, digital books, digital code. Effective July 1, 2013

NJ – Tax digital and physical product effective 04/09/2014

NV – Tax on Physical Goods effective 10/01/2015

NY – Collecting tax on physical and software

OH – Tax digital and physical product effective 8/1/2015

PA – Tax digital and physical product effective 10/01/2012

RI – Collecting tax on physical and software
