About Me:

As a Co-Active and Integrative Life Coach, Jordana is passionate about helping people restore balance to their (busy, stressful) lives and transition from "surviving" into "thriving". In addition to being a Life Coach (CTI, 2015) and a Holistic Health Coach (SUNY Purchase, 2013), Jordana Carmel is an experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (over 5000 hours taught), Yoga Therapist (both with private clients and formerly at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center), and a Licensed Massage Therapist (1997). She has been a yoga teacher and guest speaker at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland since 2001. Drawing on her collective experience, and established research, Jordana will work with you to co-create a completely personalized “roadmap to health” that suits your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals. Through the years, Jordana has had a couple of health "challenges" from metabolic issues and candida, to breast cancer, and is happy to have learned that while choosing a healthy lifestyle doesn't offer absolute health guarantees, it certainly goes a very long way toward building resilience in staying healthy and in a speedier recovery from pretty much everything. Control your stress, choose the right foods to fuel your body, move regularly, make time for restorative sleep, and spend time doing what feeds your joy.
