21DSD Approved Products and Brands

Looking for 21DSD approved products and brands? We've got you covered here!

From pantry staples to snacks and on-the-go food options, this list has a lot to offer.

Note this “21DSD Approved” list is not a formal seal or recognition program.

It is not a paid certification nor is it set in stone.

If we find out that a product changes, we will change the list and still expect you to ALWAYS read your labels because we are not policing these companies, simply sharing what we've found that's compliant at the time of publishing.

This list is also not the end-all-be-all! It's possible you'll find a product that's approved and we simply haven't listed it yet. If you do, please comment with as much detail about the item as possible and we'll get you an answer as quickly as we can.

If you find a product that is not listed, revisit the “Is it a Yes Food” guidelines in The 21-Day Sugar Detox Daily Guide.

These guidelines are also available as a free download here: 21DSD.com/free. Also check out: Can I Have ____ On the 21DSD? for ingredient guidelines.

To find what you want more easily on this page, simply use the command-F tool to “find” a word or brand name! And the items marked with a ♥ are also Diane's personal favorites.

Happy detoxing!

  1. I had a hard time finding some spices to make my spice blends such as dried lemon peel, granulated onion, dried chives, and dried garlic flakes etc. I went to Whole Foods, Trader Joe and Giant Foods to collect my spices except for the above.
I understand your company sells the spice blends premade. I would like to order these but couldn’t find where to order them or have your company stopped selling these? Please advise where I can order them. Thanks.

  2. Dear Rachel,
This list of approved brands of sugar detox foods is most helpful.
Thank you for making them available to me.
    Leslie Haines.

  3. Living in Canada, we basically have access to none of these brands. It would be nice if you could have a list for Canada or other countries too.

    1. No, because they contain canola oil, dextrose, and lactose, all of which is not approved for the 21DSD. -Moriah, Team 21DSD

    1. Hi Jen,

Generally plant-based meats are made with soy and contain lots of additives. We would need to see the ingredients list to confirm, but generally these are a no. We also don’t recommend a vegetarian diet as an optimal diet for humans contains animal products. For more information, check out the What is The 21-Day Sugar Detox post, which you can find here: https://21daysugardetox.com/what-is-the-21-day-sugar-detox/. —Moriah, Team 21DSD

  4. Are we allowed BUBS Natural MCT Oil Powder? It shows as virgin coconut oil, (70% Caprylic Acid, 30% Capric Acid). Other ingredients: Tapioca Starch, contains 1% or less of silicon dioxide.
    Thanks!

    1. Hi Dominique,

Yes, this would be approved for the 21DSD. Please keep in mind that tapioca starch is allowed in limited quantities while on the 21DSD, but it’s in such small portions in this product that it would be fine. —Moriah, Team 21DSD

  5. Grass-fed raw milk (from any animal) is a superfood. It contains active enzymes, easily digestible proteins and minerals, and it could even fight infections. The important thing is that it must be certified clean.
I highly recommend raw milk on the 21DSD, especially when combined with nuts and/or coconut, which can make a good cereal substitute
