Nothing says winter holidays better than peppermint and chocolate! With just a hint of sweetness and the refreshing taste of mint, this mocha smoothie will leave you satisfied and thinking of all things snowy and bright.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup (238g) coffee, cold
- 1⁄2 medium (58g) banana, frozen
- 2 Tbsp (29g) avocado
- 2 Tbsp–about 20 (3g) mint leaves
- 2 tsp (5g) unsweetened cacao powder
- 1⁄4 cup (59g) ice
Preparation:
- Put all ingredients into a blender in the order listed and blend until smooth.

I’m allergic to bananas, what is the purpose in the recipe? if its to thicken can i use a bit of whipping cream instead?
You can use heavy cream if you want, but this is a smoothie so the texture will be thinner without banana.
